The production team will also receive a 10% cut of the movie’s earnings. In a statement, Rakshit Shetty stated that all donations would be made in the name of Charlie. The storyline of the movie centers around Charlie, a stray dog who enters the life of the lead character Dharama.

The creators of 777 Charlie will donate 5% of the proceeds from their movie to NGOs in India that are devoted to the care of independent canines and other animals. The major announcement was revealed by the producers after 777 Charlie, which debuted on June 10, had played for 25 days in more than 450 theatres across India. The film’s leading man, actor Rakshit Shetty, declared in a statement that all contributions will be made under the name of Charlie. The message said, “777 Charlie has been enjoying unmatched affection for the past 25 days since it arrived at you. As we start to understand the kind of acclaim and recognition that this movie has brought us, our joy knows no bounds.

“We think the best way to truly honour this achievement is to recognise the countless individuals who collaborated tirelessly to bring this movie to the big screen. As a result, we’ve decided to give every person who helped bring 777 Charlie to fruition a part of the movie’s earnings of 10 percent,” Shetty said in the statement.

“As the creators of 777 Charlie, we are conscious of the type of effort and resources that go into making the environment around us joyful and safe for the animals. In light of this, we would like to donate 5% of the profits, in Charlie’s honour, to organizations across the nation that are devoted to promoting the welfare of stray dogs and other animals. “The world will be illuminated when we use our light to ignite someone else’s. We are grateful to each of you for illuminating our planet with your love,” he said.

The storyline of the movie centres around Charlie, a stray dog who enters the life of the lead character Dharama. Dharma, played by Rakshit, is first seen in the trailer. The Dharma characters came across a person who had given up on life and was mired in a destructive cycle of behavior. “I believe I am leading a moral life. But it’s incorrect how others view my life. My life consists of my home, factory, fights, idlis, cigarettes, and beer. Dharma is heard saying in the trailer, “Nothing interesting. 777 Charlie began shooting in 2018 and finished last year.
As previously stated, the creators are now lending their support to two crucial causes: passive adoption at animal shelters and the adoption of independent and rescued canines. According to TOI, the crew decided to work with Charlie’s Animal Rescue Center (CARE), where they planned to organize an adoption drive following the release of their movie on June 10.
