Google is preparing to unveil the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones, and according to a new source, the devices could be released sooner than expected.
According to GizmoChina, the phones could be released in September, a few months sooner than the regular October release date.
The Pixel 7 will have a 6.3-inch display, which is somewhat smaller than the Pixel 6’s 6.4-inch screen.
According to reports, the future series will be powered by a new Tensor CPU and would have up to 512GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the Google Pixel 7 is expected to be substantially smaller than the Pixel 6, with dimensions of 155.6 x 73.1 x 8.7 mm compared to 155.6 x 73.1 x 8.7 mm for the Pixel 6.
The back of the Pixel 7 Pro will look similar to that of its predecessor. With a horizontal camera module holding a triple camera unit, a microphone, and an LED flash, it will keep its dual-tone design.
The Pixel 6a, the successor to the Pixel 5a, is scheduled to be released before the Pixel 7 series. In 2022, the Pixel 6a is one of the most anticipated smartphones. In terms of cameras, the Google Pixel 6A is said to have a dual rear camera configuration with a 12.2MP primary camera and a 12MP secondary camera.
A single front camera arrangement for selfies, as well as an 8MP primary camera, may be included in the smartphone.
It’s reported to have a Tensor processor in the mid-range, most likely a Tensor Lite SoC or Snapdragon 778G. The Pixel 6a might have 6GB or 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and run Android 12 out of the box, with up to three years of version upgrades and five years of security patches guaranteed.
