Following the actor’s recent music video, which provoked an uproar, the hashtag ‘Arrest Sunny Leone’ began trending on Twitter on Monday, with many claiming it violated religious sensibilities. The song sparked great outrage among some parts, prompting the music label that released it to announce that it would be modified and that a new song will take its place.
On December 26, the Saregama label issued a statement apologizing for offending people’s feelings. In light of recent feedback, the Saregama label has pledged to amend the lyrics and name of the song Madhuban and to respect the views of fellow countrymen.

According to reports, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra issued a warning to the song’s creators and Leone. Mishra has recently been at the forefront of leading accusations against brands that allegedly violate religious emotions.
Narottam Mishra wrote on Twitter, “The situation has now come to a conclusion with the decision of music label #Saregama to modify the song #MadhubanMeinRadhika picturized on actress #SunnyLeone ji. However, in the future, we will not issue any warnings or take any immediate action in response to any attempt to offend Hindu Dharma feelings.”
