Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will appear in Ponniyin Selvan: I, Mani Ratnam’s masterpiece, four years after that. The movie’s creators on Wednesday unveiled a brand-new poster for the picture that features the actress. Aishwarya portrays Nandini and wears an ethnic attire with a lot of jewellery. Aishwarya shared the poster on Instagram and captioned it, “The face of revenge is lovely! Meet Nandini, the Pazhuvoor Queen! The video game PS1 will be available in theatres on September 30 in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada “and included Mani Ratnam’s tag in the post.
The actress earned a shout-out from hubby Abhishek Bachchan as fans erupted over the billboard. Abhishek shared Aishwarya’s post on his Instagram story and added a large red heart symbol.
Ponniyin Selvan: This will be the fourth time Aishwarya and Mani Ratnam have worked together. Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, R. Sarathkumar, and Sobhita Dhulipala make up the film’s ensemble cast. The movie is the first of two enormous projects based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 novel Ponniyin Selvan, and it is co-produced by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions.
The Golden Era premieres on September 30th, Aishwarya tweeted alongside her first look from the movie she shared in March. She is seen in the picture with her hair pulled back, donning elaborate jewellery, and donning a lovely saree.
Aishwarya’s most recent film appearance was in Fanney Khan, which starred Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, in 2018. Abhishek just finished filming the Hindi version of Oththa Seruppu Size 7 and recently appeared in the film Dasvi.
