Coir Board’s Pavilion has been adjudged second for its outstanding display and was awarded Silver Medal for Excellence in display among the Ministries & Departments, PSU, PSB & Commodity Boards categories.

in a grand award ceremony.
Coir Board has been awarded Silver & Gold Medals consecutively for the past 2 years. This time it is a more particular one for the reason as several countries across the globe have participated this year in India.
Coir Board has taken an initiative to display its CCRI-developed Machines very effectively for the production of various Coir Products. Coir Hangings/Vertical Garden was displayed for effective pollution management, especially for Metro cities.
“Newly invented An innovative Digital Human” initiative was also on display for spreading awareness among the masses as well as classes for promoting environmentally friendly/ sustainable and organic Coir Products like Coir Manure, Coir Pith, Coir Geotextiles, Cocolawn and Coir Kitchen Garden articles, etc.
Besides, CICT developed Coir Wood, Coir Ply furniture items were also on display this year.
Products of 28 entrepreneurs/ consignors from Delhi, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamilnadu, etc. displayed in 14 stalls along with other in-house stalls maintained by Coir Board.
