Comic Favorite ‘The Archies’ Hits Netflix with New Stars

August 29, 2023: Get ready for a fantastic show as the famous comic ‘The Archies‘ comes to life on Netflix! This special movie is directed by Zoya Akhtar and features some fresh faces – Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda – making their acting debuts.

Remember those comics you love? Well, ‘The Archies‘ is turning into a movie, and it’s coming to Netflix on December 7. The story is set back in the 1960s and follows characters like Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel, and Dilton. These characters teach us about friendship, freedom, love, and dealing with tough times. The story happens in a made-up place called Riverdale.

Suhana Khan, Khushi Kapoor, and Agastya Nanda are really excited about this. Suhana even posted on Instagram, saying there are 100 days left until we get to meet ‘The Archies’ on Netflix! The actors and Zoya Akhtar, the director, put up a big sign on a street in Mumbai. This sign has a countdown to remind everyone that the movie is coming soon.

Zoya Akhtar, who is really good at making movies, also helped write this one. She worked with Reema Kagti and Ayesha Devitre to make the story great. You might know Ayesha from other movies like “Kapoor & Sons” and “Gehraiyaan.” The movie is made by Netflix India, Zoya and Reema’s company called Tiger Baby, and also Archie Comics and Graphic India.

Everyone is waiting for ‘The Archies’ to show up on Netflix. It’s going to be a fun and exciting adventure as our favorite comics turn into a cool movie!
