Tribute Meeting for Late Shri Harishbhai Nayak Held at RSS Office in Karnavati
Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and RSS All India Executive Member Shri Bhaiyyaji Joshi paid their tributes through condolence messages.
“The best tribute to Harishbhai would be to continue and accelerate the work to which he dedicated his entire life.”
– Shri Atulji Limaye
Respected senior Pracharak (full-time worker) of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Shri Harishbhai Nayak, passed away on 13th April 2025. His life, filled with dedication and purpose, has been a source of inspiration for all. To honour his memory, a tribute meeting was held yesterday evening at the RSS office, Dr. Hedgewar Bhavan in Karnavati.

A large number of RSS volunteers, social leaders, and dignitaries, including Honourable Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, were present at the event and prayed for the peace of the departed soul. Other prominent attendees included MP Shri Dineshbhai Makwana, Ahmedabad BJP President Shri Amitbhai Shah, MLA Shri Amitbhai Thakar, Shri Kaushikbhai Jain, and many other social leaders.
On this occasion, RSS Joint General Secretary Shri Atulji Limaye addressed the gathering. He spoke about the unique tradition of RSS Pracharaks that has been ongoing since 1942. He explained that becoming a Pracharak requires only one thing – love for the motherland. Educated or uneducated, rich or poor, people from all walks of life have taken up the role of Pracharaks. They live among society and work just like the people they serve. Their mission is to create a positive atmosphere in society, and all Pracharaks have contributed to this noble cause.
Shri Atulji further said that a noble mindset is formed by one’s actions. For example, even after passing away, Shri Harishbhai Nayak donated his body. Many such Pracharaks have shown how an ordinary person can become an ideal worker. Harishbhai’s life sets an example for both current Pracharaks and household workers on how to grow from a regular person into a devoted servant of the nation.
He concluded by saying that if we truly want to pay tribute to someone like Harishbhai, the best way is to continue the work he devoted his entire life to – and to do it with even greater dedication and speed.
