New Delhi: Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa the Rise: Part One’ is doing great at the box office and has received a lot of applause. The audience has also highly appreciated the song ‘Oo Antava’ which features Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Samantha’s song has created quite a stir and has gone viral on social media. The song has marked her presence on the industry map. Her performance in the song has set the stage on fire. According to media reports which are doing rounds, it is being said that the actress charged a bomb to be a part of the song.
Samantha, who was earlier seen in the webseries ‘The Family Man’, has charged a whopping 5 crore rupees to be a part of ‘Oo Antava’, according to reports. The report also quoted a source revealing, “Oh, she has charged a bomb for the Oo Antava dance number. Believe me, she was very reluctant. The film’s leading man Allu Arjun personally took the effort to convince her.”
The dance number is getting a lot of attention and is said to be one of her best performances. Samantha was not ready to be a part of the dance number earlier and it took a lot of convincing on the part of both the director Sukumar and Allu Arjun. Sukumar had given her the example of Pooja Hegde’s dance number in ‘Rangasthalam’. It was then that she agreed.
In an interview when she was asked about her experience, she said, “It’s really challenging to get the steps perfect, the beat, and dance with Allu Arjun, it’s my god tiring.”
Samantha will be seen in the multilingual, pan-India film Yashoda next. Shaakuntalam is also in the pipeline for her. She is also a part of ‘Arrangements of Love’ which will be her first international project.
