New Delhi: Handset maker Realme is set to launch the Realme 9 Pro+ and Realme 9 smartphones in India. Another model in the Realme 9 series, said to be the Realme 9 Pro is also said to launch alongside the Realme 9 Pro+ and the vanilla Realme 9. Rumours and leaks related to the purported Realme 9 Pro+ have been doing the rounds for quite some time now that indicate what its specifications would look like. The device is likely to arrive with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset.
According to a Twitter post by Realme VP Madhav Sheth, it is confirmed that the handset maker is bringing either the Realme 9 Pro+ or the Realme 9 Pro to India. “Guess which one of these realme smartphones are we bringing soon to India?,” Sheth recently asked in a Twitter poll.
Some other expected specs of the Realme 9 Pro is a 6.6-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and unlike the Realme 9 Pro+ a Snapdragon 695 chip could power this device. It is likely to sport a 64MP main camera while the pricier Realme 9 Pro+ could arrive with a 50MP main camera and a 16MP selfie cam with support for faster 65W charging.
The company has just launched its Realme 9i budget smartphone in the country. The Realme 9i has been unveiled in India in two colours and at a starting price of Rs 13,999. The handset will be available in an early sale starting January 25 on Realme.com, Flipkart, and other channels. The Realme 9i features Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 6nm processor and a first in the segment 33W Dart Charging technology. The 6GB/128GB variant of Realme 9i is priced at Rs 15,999.
