Adani Ahmedabad Marathon 2023: Get Ready to Run for a Cause

Ahmedabad, September 21, 2023: The Adani Ahmedabad Marathon is back for its seventh edition, and it’s going to be even more amazing! This year’s marathon will happen on November 26th, starting and ending at the beautiful Riverfront Sports Park in Paldi, right by the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad. You can sign up for the marathon starting from September 21st.
There are different categories you can participate in, like the full marathon (42.195 km), the half marathon (21.097 km), the 10 km run, and the 5 km run. This marathon is special because it’s certified by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS), and it has Dave Cundy as the Race Director. He’s an expert in marathons, having directed the Canberra Marathon for 30 years and the Sydney Olympic marathons.
This marathon is not just about winning medals; it’s also about doing something good for our armed forces and our country. United Way India is helping with this, and you can choose to support different causes like the armed forces’ welfare, healthcare, education, and more. You can even raise money for these causes by choosing Charity Bibs, which donate a part of the proceeds to your chosen cause.
At the marathon, the Indian Army will show some of its important equipment to inspire young people to consider joining the armed forces. This marathon has been growing in popularity every year and is not only about staying healthy but also about improving lives across the country.
