The inauguration ceremony, held in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, witnessed the unveiling of South Asia’s largest ammunition and missiles complex. Spread across 500 acres, these facilities represent a monumental step towards bolstering India’s defence capabilities. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including the Honourable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath, and top officials from the Ministry of Defence.

It will cater to the production of small, medium, and large-calibre ammunition for various defence and security forces. The facilities have already commenced production, with a focus on meeting a significant portion of India’s annual ammunition requirements.

With an investment plan exceeding INR 3000 Crores, the complexes are expected to generate over 4000 jobs, with a substantial multiplier effect on local businesses and the economy.
