The company has posted an impressive 18% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its EBITDA, reaching ₹6,366 crores, supported by substantial capacity expansion and operational excellence.
AGEL’s financial results reflect robust growth across all key metrics. Revenue from power supply increased by 18% YoY to ₹6,829 crores, while energy sales rose by 23% YoY to 20,108 million units. The company maintained its industry-leading EBITDA margin of 92.0%, demonstrating efficiency and cost optimization.
Cash profits also surged by 23% to ₹3,630 crores, showcasing the company’s ability to generate strong returns despite a challenging economic landscape.
AGEL achieved a significant milestone by increasing its operational renewable energy capacity by 37% YoY to 11.6 GW. This includes the addition of 2,113 MW of solar capacity and 312 MW of wind capacity in Khavda, 580 MW of solar capacity in Rajasthan, and 126 MW of wind capacity in Gujarat.
The company strengthened its position as a leader in the industry by contributing 12% of wind installations and 15% of utility-scale solar installations in India in 2024.
With a planned capacity of 30 GW, AGEL is constructing the largest renewable energy plant in the world in Khavda, Gujarat. This project, which spans 538 square kilometers, five times the area of Paris, is expected to revolutionize large-scale sustainable energy development.
