Before this, when people landed in Ahmedabad and needed to catch another domestic flight, they had to go through a long process. Now, things have changed.

- No Need to Exit: After your first flight lands in Ahmedabad, you don’t have to leave the airport. You can go directly to the security check area for your next flight.
- Faster Security Check: There’s a special security check area just for passengers connecting to another domestic flight. This means less waiting in line, and it can handle about 130 passengers every hour.
- Who Can Use It: This facility is for passengers who have both their incoming and outgoing flights with the same airline. If your incoming and outgoing flights are with different airlines, you still need to go through the old process.
- What to Do: If you have a boarding pass for your next flight, follow the signs for transfers when you arrive at the airport. Get your belongings checked at the new transfer area, and then wait for your next flight at the boarding gate. If you don’t have a boarding pass for your next flight, ask the airline staff for help.
- Enjoy Your Time: If you have some extra time before your next flight, you can shop, eat, relax, or explore the airport.
This new facility is not just good for passengers; it also helps airlines connect more cities with shorter connecting times.
