With their next film ‘Selfiee,’ actors Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi promise a fun-filled voyage. On Wednesday, the actors announced the project by posting a photo of themselves taking a selfie on their respective Instagram accounts.

Akshay shared a photo of himself taking a selfie while wearing a unique golden bomber jacket. He’s wearing a pair of fantastic black sunglasses. He wrote in the caption, “Taking a Selfiee to start my day. After all, why not?”

He also shared a photo with Emraan Hashmi, his co-star. The handsome hunks appear to have found their ideal selfie partners while seated on their bikes. Akshay commented, “Tagging Karan Johar, who is also one of the film’s producers,” “I’ve found the ideal selfie buddy! Have we slain the selfie game or what, Karan Johar?”

Karan Johar reacted to the post with the following comment: “Yes, absolutely! I’m no match for you, “followed by a teary-eyed emoji, but this makes perfect sense.

Emraan Hashmi also shared a photo of himself on Instagram, where he can be seen taking a selfie while clad in a smart blue t-shirt and pants. Emraan Hashmi’s role in the film requires him to grow a beard.” New look, new vibes!” the actor said, taking a page from Akshay’s book about starting his day with a selfie.

Earlier, the film’s producer, Karan Johar, tweeted a trailer of the film, in which Akshay and Emraan dance together. Karan tweeted in response to the preview, “Selfie, directed by Raj Mehta and starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, is currently in theatres. Get in the picture and strike a pose because filming is about to begin!”

Prithviraj and Sooraj Venjaramoodu act in the key roles in ‘Selfiee,’ a Hindi version of the Malayalam film ‘Driving License.’ For the remake, the two Bollywood stars will reprise their roles.
The film, which is set to be released this year, has yet to begin production.
