PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter’s Growth Strategy
The PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter recently held its annual general meeting (AGM) for the fiscal year 2023-24. The meeting took place at the Board Room of the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA), with a strong attendance of 18 members.
Continuity in Leadership
Nikhil Aboti, the founder of Kinesis Communications, continues to serve as the Chairman of the PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter. Joining him in leadership, Vicky Shah, founder of Vacha Consultancy, has been appointed as the Vice Chairman.
New Office Bearers
Alongside Aboti and Shah, the chapter appointed Trilok Sanghani as Secretary, Hemant Sadkar as Treasurer, and Bijal Thakkar as Joint Secretary.
Future Plans and Initiatives
Aboti, as Chairman, outlined ambitious plans for the upcoming year, emphasizing the importance of expanding the chapter’s membership and increasing female participation. Plans include organizing the National PR Day Celebrations for 2024 in collaboration with the Public Relations Consultants Association of India (PRCAI) and the AMA.
Membership Drive
The PRSI Ahmedabad Chapter aims to boost its membership, aiming to reach at least 60 members by the next year. Efforts will be made to attract a diverse range of PR and communications professionals from the Ahmedabad community.

Recognition and Rewards
To encourage member participation and engagement, the chapter plans to reward those who attend the most events, refer new memberships, secure significant sponsorships, and consistently participate in chapter activities.

The office bearers urged all members to actively participate in the upcoming PRSI National Conference actively, emphasizing the importance of collective engagement and representation.
Financial Update
During the AGM, members were updated on the chapter’s financial status. Hemant Sadkar, serving as Treasurer, shared details regarding fund inflow and outflow, highlighting the commitment of the current office bearers to address pending accounting requirements, including auditing.
Auditing Process
The chapter will appoint an independent auditor to review its operations and financials, ensuring transparency and accountability in its financial management.
