Slashing Rates for CGD Partners
Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) has made a significant announcement that is set to benefit City Gas Distribution (CGD) partners across India. The company will now provide CNG compression services at Uniform Compression Charges, effectively cutting the cost by nearly half compared to the standard rates.
The standard compression charge for CNG currently stands at ₹16.90 per kg (comprising ₹14.30 per kg + ₹2.60 GST). However, ATGL is introducing a highly competitive rate of ₹9.35 per kg (₹7.90 per kg + ₹1.45 GST) for the same service. This move is expected to bring immense relief to CGD companies, allowing them to access hassle-free, convenient, and safe CNG fuel at ATGL’s mother stations. These stations are equipped with advanced compressors and dispensers.
One of the primary advantages of this offering is that CGD partners can now save significantly on time and infrastructure costs. They will no longer have to invest resources in procuring land, obtaining statutory permissions, building facilities, and installing compression infrastructure. Instead, they can divert their capital towards expanding their core business and enhancing operational efficiency.
ATGL boasts more than two decades of operational expertise and employs highly skilled technicians, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery. The pan-India compression service packages are readily available for deployment, making it a convenient and accessible option for CGD partners across the country.
This move by ATGL reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of the CGD sector. By offering cost-effective CNG compression services, ATGL aims to foster an environment that encourages CGD partners to expand their operations and contribute to the nation’s clean energy drive.
The reduction in compression charges is expected to bring a positive impact on the entire CNG ecosystem, benefiting end consumers with more affordable and eco-friendly fuel options. As ATGL continues to leverage its operational expertise, CGD partners can look forward to streamlined processes and increased efficiency in their CNG distribution operations. The new compression service is set to create a win-win situation for all stakeholders involved.
