Tiku Weds Sheru is the most eccentric romantic comedy-drama you’ll be viewing on Prime Video this weekend, following the fun and wacky journey of a hustler and a dreamer. The comedy, which stars the multi-talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the up-and-coming Avneet Kaur, tells the story of two starry-eyed characters trying to break into Bollywood while navigating all the obstacles and mayhem of the outside world.
Twelve years after beginning her career as a child artist, Avneet has finally landed her big break as the lead in Kangana Ranaut’s debut film.
She gets to cooperate alongside National Award-winning actor Nawazuddin in the movie. The actor recently spoke candidly about the event and said, “Nawaz sir’s seriousness and passion for his work are laudable. Being both on and off is crucial for us actors. You cannot allow anything to impact you at that time because an actor is on screen. He is present at the moment because he takes his work so seriously, passionately, and seriously. He commits fully. No matter how many movies I work on, I’ll always keep what I learned from Nawaz Sir in mind as I move forward in my career as an actor.
The movie is Kangana Ranaut’s first to be produced under her Manikarnika Films company. Tiku Weds Sheru, which was directed by Sai Kabir Srivastava, will premiere on Prime Video just on June 23.
