According to aceshowbiz.com, Bella revealed in a new interview that she had decided to stop drinking, saying that it had something to do with how alcohol had affected her health.
Bella told InStyle that she took the decision to stop drinking alcohol six months ago.
After her doctor and medical advisor for her non-alcoholic beverage firm Kin Euphorics showed her the effects of alcohol on her brain, the 25-year-old admitted that it became “hard to pick up a lot tougher to take up the glass.”
“I’ve had my fair share of drinking,” Yolanda Hadid’s daughter revealed.
“I was addicted to booze, and it got to the point where I had to cancel nights out because I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to manage myself.”
“I don’t feel the desire (to drink alcohol) because I know how it will impact me at 3 a.m. when I wake up with severe anxiety remembering that one thing I said five years ago when I was from high school,” she explained.
“There’s just this never-ending effect of, essentially, agony and tension over those few drinks that didn’t do much, you know?” Bella added.
Bella joined Kin as a co-founder and partner in September after discovering that it helped her with anxiety, Lyme disease brain fog, and exhaustion from constant work and travel. The botanical-infused, alcohol-free seltzer brand claims to improve focus and creativity.
