Sri Lanka Tourism is on a mission to captivate the hearts of Indian travelers with its enchanting offerings. With the launch of the “You’ll Come Back for More!” global campaign, Sri Lanka aims to showcase its diverse attractions and position itself as a year-round destination for all types of tourists. To further this initiative, the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) and Sri Lanka Convention Bureau are organizing a series of B2B Roadshows and Networking evenings in key cities across India.
Connecting with Indian Markets
On the 10th, 12th, and 14th of June 2024, the spotlight will shine on Indore, Vadodara, and Surat as Sri Lanka hosts B2B Roadshows and Networking evenings in these vibrant Indian cities. The goal is to attract more visitors from Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat by showcasing Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage, pristine beaches, lush landscapes, and diverse tourism offerings. This strategic approach aims to strengthen ties with key markets in India and encourage more Indian travelers to explore the wonders of Sri Lanka.
Steering the Way Forward
Under the guidance of Mr. Harin Fernando, Honorable Minister for Tourism, Lands, Sports, and Youth Affairs, a delegation led by Mr. Krishantha Fernando, General Manager of Sri Lanka Convention Bureau, will spearhead the roadshow events. Comprising over 40 stakeholders from the tourism sector, including Destination Management Companies, leading hotels & resorts, homestays, tour operators, and other service providers, the delegation is poised to engage in meaningful B2B interactions with industry peers in each city.
