Bidisha De Majumdar, a Bengali model-turned-actress, was discovered dead in her Dum Dum, Kolkata, flat. For the past four months, the 21-year-old actress has been renting a flat in the city. On the evening of Wednesday, May 25, police discovered her dead in her flat in Nagerbazar. They broke down her door to gain access to her home, where she was discovered hanging. The inquiry into this case has been begun by the Barrackpore Police. Meanwhile, Bidisha’s body has been transported to the RG Kar hospital for a postmortem examination.
Police have reportedly retrieved a suicide note inside Bidisha’s flat, according to a source. Anubhab Bera, the model who died, was her boyfriend. Her acquaintances stated she was depressed as a result of her involvement with him.
In 2021, Bidisha De Majumdar, a well-known model, made her acting debut in Anirbed Chattopadhyay’s short film Bharat- The Clown, directed by Anirbed Chattopadhyay. Debraj Mukherjee, a well-known actor, played the lead role in the film.
