Born 2 Dance: India’s Biggest Dance Championship Concludes in Kolkata
Kolkata, September 3, 2023: The grand finale of India’s most exciting dance competition, “Born 2 Dance – Dancer’s Paradise,” came to an electrifying close at the Dhono Dhanyo Auditorium in Kolkata. The event was graced by esteemed judges Terence Lewis, a renowned Bollywood choreographer, and Saurabh Bangani and Vivek Jaiswal, famous from the show “Dance India Dance.” The audience included notable personalities like Trina Saha, Neel Bhattacharya, Kamlesh Patel, RJ Praveen, and many others.
Saurabh and Vivek, known for their stint on “Dance India Dance,” shared their thoughts with the media, expressing their excitement about the competition’s journey to the grand finale. They mentioned the intense competition and the challenge of judging such exceptional talent. The duo awarded the “Champion of Champions” with a spectacular trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 1 Lakh. Having experienced reality shows themselves, they aimed to create “Born 2 Dance” to provide aspiring dancers from all over the world with a platform to develop their skills and prepare for future reality show appearances. The event saw over 5,000 participants and included a three-day dance carnival from September 1st to 3rd.
Bollywood choreographer Terence Lewis commended “Born 2 Dance” as the brainchild of Saurabh and Vivek, who have achieved success in previous reality shows. The competition’s primary goal is to showcase the talents of deserving dancers by providing them with a world-class stage. “Born 2 Dance” not only identifies future dance stars but also kickstarts their professional careers, offering them the opportunity to perform in front of leading experts in the field, taking dance to new heights.
