C-TAG, an Ahmedabad-based coding education center, decided to celebrate Foundation Day uniquely this year. Traditionally, the day is marked with pomp, speeches, and cultural events. The institute chose to host a special event for disadvantaged children instead of a customary ceremony to share joy and generosity.

C-TAG has always been committed to helping students grow holistically, which includes fostering empathy and social responsibility in addition to coding and technology. The student-led social service organization “VR 1,” which C-TAG overseas as part of this program, has been working on humanitarian projects for the last two years. These youngsters take the initiative to prepare and serve more than 200 impoverished people and children meals each month. They wanted to do something particularly noteworthy this time.

According to C-TAG’s founder, Mr. Parshabhai Gandhi, the organization encourages students to build a solid moral foundation in addition to their academic abilities. Education is about developing responsible, caring people, not only about books and computer skills.

Ms. Palakben Gandhi, his co-founder, shared her thoughts as well. She began teaching pupils from her home-based business, Palak Gandhi Computer Classes (PGCC) and has 22 years of experience in computer education. She was greatly inspired by her late mother-in-law, Induben Gandhi. Induben was ecstatic to see students achieve, and this inspired Palakben to continue growing her educational endeavors.

Palakben established PGCC Day, which is observed on February 4th, Induben’s birthday, in recognition of her contributions. This year, students proposed changing someone’s life rather than holding a traditional celebration.

In keeping with this concept, C-TAG organized a special expedition for disadvantaged kids between the ages of 4 and 15 at a well-known eatery on Ahmedabad’s SG Highway. As students and kids interacted over games, dancing, and delectable cuisine, the evening was full of heartwarming moments, laughter, and excitement.

In addition to having fun, students used the occasion to talk about the value of education and the risks associated with addiction. Since many of these kids had never been to such an event before, it was a day they would never forget.

The occasion was extremely poignant for the C-TAG kids. “It made me realize how fortunate we are,” one youngster said. Even though our parents give us so much, we frequently take it for granted. There is no greater sense of fulfillment than assisting others.

“In today’s fast-paced world, it is commendable that an institute like C-TAG is teaching students such valuable humanitarian lessons,” said a parent who also expressed gratitude for the program.

In addition to giving the kids priceless memories, the celebration reinforced the idea that even tiny deeds of kindness can have a significant impact. The “V R 1” group of C-TAG has been steadily working on related projects, and it is hoped that their work will continue to expand.

The children’s smiles as the event drew to a close said it all. Even if four hours seemed like only a few seconds, the effects will endure a lifetime. Making someone’s life a bit better is what meaningful celebrations are all about, not just cutting cakes, as demonstrated by C-TAG.
