Capri Sports Welcomes New Leaders to Boost Their Team

As another sports season approaches, Capri Sports is gearing up for some big changes. Capri Sports, a company with interests in various sports, is thrilled to announce the addition of two key team members. Apurv Gupta and Chandan Roy have come on board as Senior Vice President for Contact Sports and Vice-President of Marketing, respectively. Both Apurv and Chandan will be based in Mumbai.
Capri Sports has had an impressive year, finishing third with the UP Warriorz in the highly competitive Women’s Premier League. Now, they are getting ready for the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League with the Bengal Warriors.
Apurv Gupta brings valuable experience, having been involved in launching the Pro Kabaddi League with Mashal Sports Private Limited. After that, he led the live sports business launch at Amazon Prime Video (India). Apurv’s role will involve managing the operations of Capri Sports’ Bengal Warriors and Rajasthan Warriors, with the goal of building their reputation.
Chandan Roy, on the other hand, comes from a stint with Star Sports, where he was the Head of Sponsorship Marketing for emerging sports like Football (ISL, Premier League), F1, and Grand Slams in the Indian market. He will now be responsible for creating brand and fan engagement strategies for Capri Sports’ teams, including UP Warriorz, Bengal Warriors, Sharjah Warriors, and Rajasthan Warriors.
