The Bengal Cultural Association is gearing up for a big celebration of the 86th Kalibari Durga Puja in 2023. They have some exciting plans for this year’s event:
- Focus on Seniors: They’re making sure that older people have an easy time at the Puja. They’ll have special golf carts to help them get around, special seating for meals, and even health check-up camps.
- Lots of Fun: They want everyone to have a great time, so there will be quizzes, contests, and other fun activities. You can also enjoy tasty Bengali food.
- Support from Sponsors: Companies that help out will get a chance to show off their brands.
Durga Puja isn’t just for people in West Bengal. Bengali communities everywhere celebrate it with love and excitement. It’s a time to honor the goddess Durga and celebrate good winning over bad.
The Bengal Cultural Association has been preserving Bengali culture in Ahmedabad for a long time. They have lots of members, and they all help with cultural events and other activities.
Their leader, Shri Anal Mukherjee, is excited about the new Kalibari Community Centre. It will be a place for prayers, cultural events, and more. There will be rooms for guests and a library with Bengali books.
