India-Pakistan Match Date Changed
The big cricket match between India and Pakistan in the men’s ODI World Cup will happen on October 14 in Ahmedabad. This date has been moved from the original plan. Other matches in the tournament will also have new dates.
Changes to Other Matches
Because of the India-Pakistan match change, some other games are also getting new dates. The game between New Zealand and Bangladesh will be played at night on October 13. England will play against Afghanistan on October 15. The match between Australia and South Africa will now be on October 12 instead of the 13th.
Pakistan’s Schedule Adjustments
Pakistan’s match before playing against India has also been changed. Their game against Sri Lanka will now be on October 10 instead of the 12th. England’s match against Bangladesh will be at night on October 10, making it a busy day.
Near the end of the tournament, some games are also moving. Australia vs Bangladesh and England vs Pakistan, which were on November 12, will now be on November 11. The India-Netherlands match will be on November 12 instead.
The World Cup will start with a match between England and New Zealand in Ahmedabad. The last game of the tournament will also be in Ahmedabad on November 19.
This means that cricket fans have some new dates to remember for the World Cup matches.
Tickets sale dates
Ahead of tickets going on sale, fans will have the opportunity to register their interest here from 15 August.
Tickets will go on sale on the following dates:
25 August – Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches
30 August – India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum
31 August – India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune
1 September – India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai
2 September – India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata
3 September – India matches at Ahmedabad
15 September – Semi Finals and Final
