Netflix will soon begin streaming the movie Cirkus, which stars Ranveer Singh, Pooja Hegde, Varun Sharma, and Jacqueline Fernandez among others.
Cirkus, one of the most eagerly anticipated movies of 2022, is about to stream on the OTT platform this month. A dismal theatrical release of Cirkus will begin streaming on Netflix on February 17.
Ranveer Singh plays the protagonist character in the movie, which is based on William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors. The movie also stars Varun Sharma, Pooja Hegde, and Jacqueline Fernandez in addition to Ranveer.
The movie Cirkus debuted on December 23, 2022, in theatres. The movie debuted to mixed reviews from critics and viewers before going on to become one of the biggest box office duds of 2022. The movie, which had a $150 million budget, reportedly only grossed roughly 57 million rupees globally.
Shetty had spoken candidly about the film’s failure and described how his crew had faced several challenges in the weeks that followed Cirkus’ release. “From Cirkus to my injury on site, my crew and I have gone through a lot in the previous few weeks filming its final schedule in Hyderabad before SINGHAM AGAIN’s pre-production gets underway.
