DIRECTOR GENERAL INDIAN COAST GUARD VISITS GANDHINAGAR, OKHA AND PORBANDAR

DG Rakesh Pal, PTM, TM, Director General Indian Coast Guard is on a four-day maiden visit to the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) North Western Region.

The visit of the Director General commenced from ICG Regional Headquarters at Gandhinagar, wherein, he reviewed Ceremonial 51 Men Guard of Honour. The Director General was presented with an overview of ops and other relevant activities of ICG North West Region. The Flag Officer also interacted with officers, troops, and civilian personnel and complimented them for their perseverance and sustained efforts for mandated tasks at sea.

The Director General called on the Hon’ble Governor Shri Acharya Devvrat and Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel and appraised the ICG activities and preparedness to meet various challenges. The Director General also paid courtesy calls to Chief Secretary Shri Raj Kumar and DGP Vikas Sahay.
