Rahul Dravid reacted after Pant’s Century

On the first day of the fifth postponed Test match against England, Rishabh Pant saved India from a dire scenario. The left-hander reached the 100-run milestone in just 89 balls, scoring a magnificent 100 while hitting 15 boundaries and a six. Pant has already scored five hundred in Test cricket.  He undoubtedly understands when to do so i.e., when his team needs it the most. It was captured on camera how excited India’s head coach Rahul Dravid was to see Pant bring India back into the match at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

When Pant and Jadeja began the rescue effort for their side, India had a score of 98/5. In a recent home series against South Africa, Pant, who had been having trouble with his bat, hit an 89-ball century to bring India back into the game.

In a tearful celebration after scoring a century, Pant gave Ravindra Jadeja a bear embrace and raised his bat to the sky while his eyes were numbed.

The youthful left-hander, who put India in control after a crucial scenario against England, received a lot of plaudits from the crowd.

With excellent middle-order batting from Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja, India has already scored 338 runs. After the kind of start they had with all of India’s top-order batsmen falling in rapid succession, England would be dissatisfied. Jadeja and Pant, who have amassed more than 200 runs as a team and continue to project danger, had other ideas.
