According to Entertainment Weekly, Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the ‘Harry Potter’ movie, pondered leaving the franchise.

Emma appeared on the ‘Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts’ special with her co-stars from the franchise, where she opened up about going through a hard time.

Emma remarked, “I did come across a diary entry that was similar. I could tell I was lonely at times.” “The fame thing had finally hit home in a huge sense,” she says later in the special.

Producer David Heyman and Warner Bros. notified director David Yates when he was hired to oversee the remaining Harry Potter films, beginning with 2007’s ‘Order of the Phoenix,’ that

“Emma is undecided about returning to do another Potter.”

Tom Felton, who portrayed Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter film series, stated, “People will never forget what she undertook and how elegantly she accomplished it. They had each other, Dan (Radcliffe) and Rupert (Grint). Emma was not just younger than me, but she was also by herself.”

“The fans sincerely wanted me to succeed, and we all honestly had each other’s backs,” Emma remarked of her decision to stay with the franchise to the finish.

“The most terrible thing anyone of us had to go through,” she said of Ron and Hermione’s huge kissing moment in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.”
