The Matrix Resurrections, which opened on December 23, 2021, have had a lackluster response at the box office thus far. The global box office collection for The Matrix Resurrections on day three has been a touch disappointing. In comparison to the first day, the movie did slightly better on the second day.
The second day’s collections were just $10 million, bringing the total to around $20 million. According to sources, The Matrix: Resurrections is expected to earn $32 million in the next three days, with a high-end prediction of $55-60 million during the five-day Christmas weekend period. The third-day totals are estimated to be around $9 million.
