Google has created a stunning doodle to honour the start of the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.

On Friday, Google released a doodle to commemorate the start of the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022. (February 4). This animated doodle will be available for the duration of the two-week event. A snowboarding leopard, an ice-dancing rabbit, a curling mouse, a fox playing hockey, and a wings-flapping duck on skis make up the doodle’s design.

“The competitive beasts featured in today’s Doodle have come under the winter sky from all around the world to keep their cool and put their adversaries on the ice. Who will seize the opportunity to become a worldwide icon by dashing home with victory?”

The competition will take place over 16 days, with the opening ceremony taking place at National Stadium, often known as the Bird’s Nest. On February 20, the competition will come to a close with a closing ceremony.

Among the 3,000 athletes from more than 90 countries, India only has one skier, Arif Mohammad Khan. Athletes will compete in cross-country skiing, speed skating, ski jumping, and freestyle skiing, among other winter sports.

After a Chinese soldier involved in the Galway 2020 fight with Indian soldiers was named torchbearer at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Torch Relay, India said on Thursday (February 3) that it will not attend the corresponding ceremonies of the Games.

The United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and a number of other countries have declared a diplomatic boycott of the Games. China’s “human rights abuses and crimes in Xinjiang” against the province’s Uyghur Muslim population, according to the US. All of these countries will send athletes to compete in the Games, but no one will attend any of the ceremonies, including the office.

Beijing has now held both the Summer and Winter Olympic Games, having previously hosted the Summer Olympic Games in 2008.
