Ahmedabad, September 15, 2023: The Gujarat Giants, a team in the Women’s Premier League, had a special meeting with their team owners from Adani Sportsline and Mr. Pranav Adani during their visit to Ahmedabad today.

The meeting was attended by the team’s mentor and advisor, Mithali Raj, and assistant coach Nooshin Al Khadeer. Players like Harleen Deol, Sushma Verma, Shabnam Shakil, and others were also present.

Mithali Raj, one of India’s cricket stars, shared her excitement on Twitter about meeting Mr. Pranav Adani and the Gujarat Giants team. She praised Mr. Pranav Adani’s support for women’s cricket and looked forward to a successful season.

Pranav Adani himself was impressed by the talented Gujarat Giants team and expressed his pride in seeing players from all over India coming together for the upcoming season of women’s cricket.

The Gujarat Giants are gearing up for the second season of the Women’s Premier League and are working hard to deliver an outstanding performance.

The Women’s Premier League currently features five teams: Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Giants, Royal Challengers Bangalore, UP Warriorz, and Delhi Capitals. The first season was held in Mumbai, but details about the dates and venues for the second season are yet to be announced by the BCCI.

The team is coached by Australian legend Rachael Haynes. Harleen Deol was one of the top Indian performers in the previous season, and the team has talented players from around the world, including South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt, Ashleigh Gardner, and England’s Sophia Dunkley.

Cricket fans can look forward to an exciting season of women’s cricket as the Gujarat Giants aim for success once again.
