Grand Finale of Ratnakarand Shravakachar Quiz Competition to Be Held in Gujarat

The Ratnakar and Shravakachar Quiz Competition’s big finale is being held at the Satpath Foundation, a reputable institution devoted to advancing Jain spirituality and values. This event will be place at Gandhinagar, Gujarat’s stunning Chaitanyadham from December 22 to December 25, 2024.

The ancient Jain texts Ratnakar and Shravakachar are the subject of the quiz contest, which has become well-known worldwide. This Sanskrit work, authored by Acharya Samantbhadra, offers Jain householders (Shravakas) guidance on leading a morally upright and spiritually satisfying life. It contains lessons on devotion, moral conduct, and pursuing emancipation (moksha). The book has been significantly enhanced and made more approachable and pertinent for contemporary audiences by Pandit Shree Sadasukhdasji Kasaliwal’s commentary.

This esteemed tournament is in its second season this year. Another important Jain literature, Mokshamarg Prakashak, was the subject of the first season, which ran from 2021 to 2022. More than 10,000 people enthusiastically participated in that season.

Over 13,000 people registered this year, including 13 participants from the USA, UK, Australia, Dubai, Singapore, and African countries in addition to India. Following several rounds, 300 of the best-performing applicants were chosen for the finals based on how they answered 1008 study booklet questions.

An immersive event that combines devotion and instruction is what the grand finale promises to be. The format of the quiz would resemble that of the well-known television program Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC). In addition to the test, participants can take part in devotional evenings, worship sessions, religious rites, seminars, and thought-provoking talks given by prominent Jain scholars.

Additionally, cultural events have been organized to disseminate the teachings of Jainism to a larger audience. It is anticipated that Chaitanyadham will attract devotees from all over India and overseas, fostering a lively environment of education and spirituality.

Gold and silver medals as well as other distinguished honours will be given to the grand finale winners. This acknowledgment encourages them to continue the great tradition of Jain philosophy in addition to celebrating their expertise.

At the forefront of promoting moral and spiritual values is the Satpath Foundation, which has its headquarters in Nagpur. The goal of the foundation is to help people live balanced lives where traditional values and contemporary lifestyles coexist.

The foundation frequently hosts online courses, workshops, seminars, pilgrimages, and contests in order to do this. Thousands of people around the world have been effectively reunited with their spiritual roots and cultural heritage thanks to these programs.

An excellent illustration of this goal is the Ratnakarand Shravakachar Quiz Competition. The organization is making sure that the eternal teachings of Jainism continue to inspire generations by encouraging participants to thoroughly study ancient texts.

In addition to being a competitive event, the grand finale promises to be a significant occasion that honors knowledge, dedication, and camaraderie.
