Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui from Bollywood is getting ready for his upcoming movie “Haddi,” in which he will play a transgender woman.
The actor revealed a brand-new image from his movie on Saturday, just days after sharing the transformation video of his “Haddi” character. He is depicted in the picture donning a lot of makeup, a crimson saree, and a hefty necklace.
Since the film first still showed the actor in the role of a transgender lady, Haddi’, it has generated a lot of controversies.
The actor stated of the movie and his role, “As an artist, I’m constantly hungry for assignments that challenge my limits as a performer. The portrayal’s genuine appearance makes up a sizable amount. For the first time in my professional life, I sat motionless for over three hours as the professionals worked their magic. I was inspired by the look to step outside my comfort zone and develop this character further. I’ve been tremendously challenged by Haddi in ways I never could have imagined, and I can’t wait to see how audiences respond.
“Haddi” is a noir revenge drama that was created by Akshat Ajay Sharma, Anandita Studios (Raadhika Nanda, Sanjay Saha), and Zee Studios. Akshat Ajay Sharma and Adamya Bhalla collaborated on its writing.
