Hazlewood, Warner, and Finch led Australia to a 10 wickets victory in the first T20 against Sri Lanka.
Australia defeated Sri Lanka by a comfortable 10-wicket margin in the first T20 international in Colombo on Tuesday, with fast bowler Josh Hazlewood taking four wickets and their openers comfortably chased a small score.
When Sri Lanka was put in to bat, they appeared to be in command when they were 100-1 in the 12th over, but they were bowled out for 128 as Hazlewood claimed three wickets in one over to finish with 4-16, while Mitchell Starc took 3-26.
After the game was twice delayed by rain. Australia captain Aaron Finch (61 not out) and David Warner (70 not out) put on an unbroken opening combination as the visitors won with six overs to spare.
Before the match, the Australian cricket board revealed that fast bowler Sean Abbott, who was part of their T20 team, would be returning home after breaking his finger in the nets.
The second T20 will take place on Wednesday, with the third taking place on Saturday. Following that, the sides will compete in five one-day internationals and two tests.
