On Thursday, the makers of the upcoming neo-noir thriller film ‘Vikram Vedha’ gave fans their first glimpse at actor Saif Ali Khan, who would portray a tough cop in the film.
Hrithik Roshan, Saif’s ‘Vikram Vedha’ co-star, debuted his character on social media. He captioned a photo of the actor from the set of the film, “Vikram.”
Saif looks great with a traditional combo of a plain white T-shirt and blue denim in the photo. Fans are fawning over Saif’s masculine and beefy portrayal of police officer Vikram in the flick.
Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan act in the lead roles, with Radhika Apte playing a pivotal role. The original authors and directors, Pushkar and Gayatri, are donning the director’s hat. For the Hindi remake, they’re also donning directors’ hats.
‘Vikram Vedha,’ a cult film in its own right, is based on the Indian meta-folktale ‘Vikram Aur Betaal,’ and depicts the narrative of a fierce cop on the hunt for and killing an equally strong gangster.
R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi starred in this Tamil hit.
Gulshan Kumar, T-Series Films, and Reliance Entertainment are producing ‘Vikram Vedha’ in partnership with Friday Filmworks and YNOT Studios Production.
Pushkar & Gayatri directed the film, which was produced by S. Sashikanth and Bhushan Kumar.
On September 30, ‘Vikram Vedha’ will be released worldwide.
