Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel introduced Domino’s New Ragi Super Crust Pizza and opened Jubilant Foodworks Limited’s Food Processing Park on Saturday with the dual goals of increasing millet growers’ revenue and providing nutrient-dense fast food pizza.

In his inauguration speech, Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel applauded Domino’s innovative project and noted that many young people consume unhealthy fast foods like pizza and hamburgers, which are made with maida. Our forward-thinking Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi took the initiative to raise the income of the farmers. I’m honoured to be a part of the historic introduction of Millet Pizza by Jubilant Foodworks Limited and Domino’s as well as the virtual opening of their forthcoming Sanand food processing park.

Jubilant Foodworks Limited’s efforts to promote millets in Gujarat ought to be applauded. This action demonstrates their comprehension of Gujarat’s widespread millet usage. Domino’s New Ragi Super Crust Pizza encourages millet eating in the country given that India is the fifth-largest millet exporter in the world. The Chief Minister said, “This innovative product not only demonstrates the brand’s originality but also supports the Honourable Prime Minister’s initiative to recognise 2023 as the International Year of Millets.

Our Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel deserves credit for introducing this millet-based pizza, according to Shyam S Bhartia, Chairman of Jubilant Foodworks Limited. The state has made notable progress in millet production and promotion and is a big contributor to India’s agricultural sector.

The newest menu item from Domino’s, a company known for its creativity and commitment to customer pleasure, is in line with the United Nations’ proclamation of 2023 as the International Year of Millets. With this introduction, millets’ nutritional and environmental advantages will be promoted, boosting global consumption.

The New Ragi Super Crust Pizza, according to Hari S. Bhartia, Co-Chairman & Director of Jubilant Foodworks Limited, “is a culinary marriage of Domino’s pizza expertise with the healthy goodness of ragi (finger millet), offering a scrumptious and nourishing experience for customers.

The pizza is made with premium millet ingredients such as Finger Millets Flour, Whole Wheat Flour, and Plain Oats, along with a multi-seed mixture of Flax seed, Watermelon seed, Pumpkin seed, and Sunflower Seeds, and is prepared by Domino’s skilled chefs.

In Gujarat, Domino’s Pizza currently has 91 locations spread across 25 cities, and by the end of the year, it plans to have 100 locations. In order to meet the demands of our clients in the region, we provide vegetarian options, such as pizzas without onion and garlic. The first market in the nation where we are introducing a new ragi super crust pizza is Gujarat.

Sunil Parikh, a company advisor, spoke at the occasion as well.
