Revving Up Patriotism

In a spirited display of national pride, the Indian Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (North West) organized a thrilling motorcycle rally on August 15, 2023, in Gandhinagar. The aim was to ignite patriotic fervor among fellow Indians and promote the widespread hoisting of the National Flag.

Flagging off the Rally

The rally kicked off with a special inauguration by the esteemed former Director General of the Indian Coast Guard, Director General (Dr.) P Paleri, PTM, TM (Retd), at Udhyog Bhavan, Gandhinagar. This venue holds significance as it houses the Headquarters Coast Guard Region (NW).

Guided by Leadership

Leading the charge was Inspector General AK Harbola, TM, Commander of Coast Guard Region (NW) himself. The enthusiastic rally saw dedicated ICG personnel proudly carrying the National Flag as they traversed the streets of Gandhinagar and its surroundings. Their presence and patriotism garnered cheers from the local residents and passersby along the route.

A Part of Celebrations

This bike rally was just one of the many exciting events organized by the Indian Coast Guard to commemorate India’s 77th Independence Day. The Coast Guard’s efforts aimed to infuse the nation with a renewed sense of unity and pride on this special occasion.
