Jio Institute recently held a special event called “Convergence-2023” in Singapore. This event was a big deal because it brought together experts and students to share their knowledge and work together.
Convergence-2023 focused on important areas like Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, Sports Management, and Tech startups. Some very smart people, including Dr. Yonggang Wen from Nanyang Technological University, Bjoern Kroog from GfK, Unmish Parthasarathi from Picture Board Partners, and Dr. Dipak Jain from Jio Institute, talked about their work.
Some important guests, like Neil Parekh from the Singapore Parliament and Ameya Abhyankar from the Indian Embassy in Singapore, joined the event. Many other groups and organizations also took part.
Jio Institute’s Director, Dr. Palak Sheth, said that in today’s world, it’s crucial for students to learn from people all over the world. Events like Convergence-2023 help students become global citizens and learn how to succeed in a connected world.
Dr. Dipak Jain, the Vice-Chancellor of Jio Institute, talked about how events like Convergence help students and experts work together to solve real-world problems.
Honourable Neil Parekh said that Convergence is a great way for professionals and students to share ideas and learn from each other.
The event included discussions about important topics like global sports, artificial intelligence in marketing, and how technology is changing the world. Dr. Yonggang Wen from Nanyang Technological University talked about how computer technology can boost the economy.
This event was the end of a two-week program where Jio Institute students learned at Nanyang Technological University. They studied important subjects like Cybersecurity, Blockchain, and Consumer Experience, and also visited companies and sports facilities.
Jio Institute plans to have more events like this to help students get ready for the future.
