Jitendra Kumar, who currently stars in the sitcom Panchayat, is in talks to play the lead in the upcoming Netflix comedy ‘Jaadugar.’ He will play a magician in the film who is in love and wants his football team to win the regional football competition. The teaser for Netflix’s sports comedy-drama ‘Jaadugar’ was released today.
The story follows Meenu, an ambitious small-time magician with limited athletic ability who lives in the football-crazed village of Neemuch. He has his heart set on marrying the woman he has always admired, but in order to do so, he must first win a major inter-colony football tournament.
Furthermore, his teammates have their own idiosyncrasies, and their coach (Jaaved Jaaferi) attempts to motivate the team to compete. The rest of the team first focuses on their training, while Meenu focuses on his magic instead. In this delightful sports comedy, love and magic mix.
“A small-town magician with little interest in football must lead his local team to the finals of a competition if he desires to marry the love of his life,” according to the official Jaadugar synopsis.
The film was directed by Sameer Saxena, and it was produced by Chalkboard Entertainment and Posham Pa Pictures.
From July 15, 2022, a thrilling sports comedy-drama about love and magic will be available exclusively on Netflix. Jitendra Kumar, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Arushi Sharma are among the film’s main characters.
