September 12, 2023: You’ve heard of people doing shady things with money, but what if someone could turn clean money into dirty money? In a world filled with revenge, power, and money, the only way to survive is by weaving a web of lies and deceit. Get ready to dive into a world of crime like never before as Disney+ Hotstar has just released the trailer for their upcoming crime thriller, Kaala. This thrilling world is brought to life by director Bejoy Nambiar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Bejoy Nambiar. You can catch it exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar on September 15, 2023.

For an actor to shine, they need a director who believes in them. Jitin Gulati, who plays a complex character in Kaala, shares his experience working with the talented director and creator, Bejoy Nambiar. From being a guardian of performance to spontaneous improvisation, Jitin Gulati gives us a peek behind the scenes of being directed by Bejoy Nambiar.

In his role as Baldev in Disney+ Hotstar’s Kaala, Jitin Gulati says, “Working with Bejoy Nambiar means staying creative and alert all the time. He has a deep passion for cinema and sees life through its lens. During our shoots, he would come up with new ideas and improvise scenes. It was like an active and lively space for any actor. What I admire most is that he doesn’t dictate what to do. He provides a playground for actors to explore and see what they can bring to the table. He guides us but doesn’t impose. He’s like a guardian of our performances. As an actor, having the director’s trust and freedom to do your thing is a fantastic place to be.”
