The trailer of the eagerly awaited Gujarati film Kaashi Raaghav was launched on January 3, 2024, creating a buzz among movie lovers. Adding to the excitement, the makers have released a new song, “Maa Ganga,” a melodious and soulful track sung by the popular Bollywood singer Jubin Nautiyal.
The song “Maa Ganga” is a tribute to the sacred river Ganga and captures the spiritual essence of the iconic ghats of Varanasi. Jubin Nautiyal’s heartfelt rendition, combined with deeply meaningful lyrics, has left listeners spellbound. The track has already gained immense popularity on social media and streaming platforms.
Director Dhruv Goswami shared insights into the song’s creation, revealing the challenges of shooting during the live Ganga Aarti. “We wanted the song to feel authentic, so we filmed it during the Aarti at the ghats. Despite the time constraints, we managed to complete the shoot in four days, thanks to the blessings of Maa Ganga and the support of priests, sages, and locals,” said Goswami.
Jubin Nautiyal’s soulful voice adds a unique touch to the song. Although he is not a Gujarati singer, Jubin’s rendition has been praised for its emotion and authenticity.
Produced under the banner of Dhanpal Films by Dhanpal Shah, Kaashi Raaghav is written and directed by Dhruv Goswami.
