The Lucknow franchise, led by KL Rahul, has shared their logo. The colours Orange, White, and Green are taken from our national flag.
It also has a bat in the centre, as well as a cricket ball, to represent Men in Blue’s colours of blue and red. Each colour has its own symbolism, with the mythical bird Garuda at the centre of the winged emblem.
“I’m on my way to glory.” The Lucknow Super Giants are getting ready to spread their wings. “Get ready for greatness!” tweeted the franchise on Twitter, alongside a video.
The franchise’s logo is based on ancient Indian mythology, according to the company.
“We were inspired to create the team’s winged logo by the mythical bird Garuda, who is a protector and enthroned with the power to move quickly.” In every Indian culture and subculture, Garuda is pervasive,” LSG stated in a statement.
“The entity’s tri-color wings symbolize the Pan-India appeal of the Lucknow Super Giants.” A blue bat has been used to build the bird’s body, which represents the game of cricket. There is also a red ball with an orange seam. It’s similar to a ‘Jay tilak,'” it continued.
