Godhra, Gujarat, June 9, 2022: MG Motor India presents Hector and ZS EV to Industrial Training Institutes in Gujarat – Godhra, Kalol, and Halol, to foster skill development and bridge the gap between academics and industry. The initiative is aligned with the MG Nurture program and in accordance with MG’s goal of CASE mobility. This will foster student skill development and prepare them for better employment opportunities. The vehicle handover was done at an event in ITI Godhra (women) in the presence of Mr. Sujal Mayatra (IAS), Collector – Panchmahal District.
Speaking about the association, Ravi Mittal, Director – of Manufacturing, MG Motor India, said, “We are delighted with this partnership with the ITIs. This will ensure the current generation’s skill development in the mobility segment. We are confident that this initiative will technologically transform students and prepare them for future job opportunities.”
Speaking about the partnership with MG Motor India, Mr. Tarun N Bhavsar – Principal ITI Godhra (Nodal Officer Panchmahal) said, “We are honoured by the kind gesture by MG Motor which will add advanced vehicular technology as a skillset for our students. This will help to make the students job-ready and prepare them for better industry prospects. The learning and hands-on experience of cutting-edge technologies will make our students competent professionals as we envisage”.
The ZS EV and Hector will be used for educational purposes and help equip the ITI students with an opportunity to learn about advanced vehicle technology in depth. Students will study a wide range of parts, technology, and systems that will empower them with first-hand knowledge of major automotive systems. This will enhance their future employability and make them industry ready for MG or any other automotive brand.
