New Sports Park Opens on Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad
Ahmedabad, September 2, 2023: The Sabarmati Riverfront in Ahmedabad is now home to a brand-new Sports Park managed by Adani Sportsline. This park is a fantastic place for people in the city and the state to enjoy sports and stay healthy. It also hopes to find and help talented athletes from Gujarat.
Adani Sportsline got the chance to create this park through a special process. On September 2, important people like the Mayor, Mr. Pranav Adani from Adani Enterprises, and Ms. Mithali Raj, a famous former Indian Women’s Cricket Captain, opened the park.
The Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park is open to everyone and has cool stuff like a jogging track, a gym, places for kids to play, cricket fields, and courts for pickleball, basketball, volleyball, and tennis. They even have a place to skateboard. This park wants people of all ages and backgrounds to come and play sports. You can book a time to play your favorite game.
The park will also have schools to teach kids aged 5 to 7 different sports. When they grow up, they can choose the sport they like the most. They will get special training to become better at it. This helps find new sports talents in the city and state.
Mithali Raj thinks this park is a great idea. She said, “The Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park is a fantastic initiative. It’s great that Adani Sportsline is doing this. Sometimes, we need more of these initiatives in India to make sure we have good places for young athletes.”
Mr. Pranav Adani said the Adani Group wants to help young people. He said, “We know how important sports are, and we want to help talented young people in India. We believe that by giving them good places to practice and get trained, they can become amazing athletes.”
The Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park is now a fun place for sports fans and future sports stars. It’s all about having fun and staying fit!
