The Global Gujarati Federation (GGF) will honour them with Salute India NRI Awards and Salute India Awards in Ahmedabad on Monday in order to recognise Non-Resident Gujaratis for upholding the rich Gujarati language, culture, and philanthropic activities in their places of settlement in the United States of America and all those who assisted the needy in Vibrant Gujarat, announced Ramesh Tanna, Founder, GGF, here on Saturday.
The principal guests will be Padmashri Joravarsinh Jadav and eminent journalist Padmashri Kumarpal Desai.
On Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Ahmedabad Management Association will host the awards ceremony.
Up to 11 awards in two distinct categories will be given out. Three Salute India Awards will be given to Gujaratis in the state, while Salute India NRI Awards will be given to 8 NRIs in the US. These yearly honours are granted to deserving NRIs who have made significant contributions to society in a variety of fields, including the arts, culture, education, health care, and women’s empowerment, among others, according to Tanna.
Additionally, Ramesh Tanna stated that 35% of the more than 2 crore Indians who have relocated overseas are Gujaratis. The GGF identifies the NRIs who have made significant contributions to society and our nation. Each year, it necessitates such persons.
Additionally, he added, “On this day, the Gujarati authors of Samajni Shradhha and Positive Stories will also release two volumes.”

Manishaben Pandya, Dr. Nirali Ashok Patel, Bhagvatiben Shah, Subhashbhai Shah, Vishnubhai Patel, and Nisarg Trivedi.
Ramaben Pandya, Pratapbhai Pandya (posthumous), both from Vadodara, and Ravjibhai Vasani, from Ahmedabad, are the recipients of the Salute India Awards.
