OnePlus plans to release the Nord 2T 5G later this month, on May 19th. OnePlus also featured a landing page on their website that showed the phone’s bottom half. However, the landing page has already been taken down.
OnePlus has stated that the OnePlus Nord 2T will be released at a launch event in Europe on May 19th. It’s unclear whether OnePlus would release the Nord 2T 5G on the same day in India. Industry insiders anticipate, however, that the device will be accessible to Indian users on the same day.
The OnePlus Nord 2T was advertised on AliExpress earlier this month, along with a few leaked pictures, specifications, and pricing.
According to leaked specifications from many sources, including AliExpress, the OnePlus 2T 5G will sport the Mediatek Dimensity 1300 SoC, 8GB RAM, and 128GB of storage. The higher-end models will have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
A 6.43-inch FullHD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate will be included on the gadget. It’ll be powered by a 4500 mAh battery with SuperVOOC charging at 80W.
The Nord 2T 5G will come with a triple camera configuration and will run OxygenOS 12.1, which is based on Android 12. A 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilization will be the primary camera. An 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP monochrome camera are the other two cameras. In terms of the front-facing camera, users will get a 32MP selfie camera hidden behind a punch-hole cutout.
The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G appears to be available in black and green, according to photographs that have surfaced online.
The device is available for $399 (approximately Rs 30,800) on AliExpress. This suggests the tablet will most likely cost less than Rs 35,000 in India.
