After the current Indian Premier League (IPL) season, Team India will have a very hectic schedule. They will begin a five-match T20I series against South Africa on June 9, while the Test team will depart on June 16 for a tour of England. Simultaneously, it is expected that the side selected for the SA T20Is would also be selected for the two-match T20I series against Ireland.

Meanwhile, according to Cricbuzz, India’s Test team will play Leicestershire in a warm-up match on June 24 ahead of the one-off Test. It will be a four-day match as well as a first-class match because two Indian sides will be in action at the same time, with the T20I team facing the first-class side. On June 26 and 28, the T20I team will face Ireland in Dublin.

Before the ODI and T20I series, India will play two warm-up games.

India’s white-ball team will also play two warm-up matches before the three-match T20I and ODI series against England, according to reports. On July 1 and 3, the warm-up matches are likely to be against Derbyshire and Northamptonshire, respectively. The T20I series between India and England will begin on July 7, with the ODI series starting on July 12. The single Test will be held in Birmingham from July 1 to 5.

In cooperation with the BCCI management and selection committee, India head coach Rahul Dravid is in charge of all arrangements for the upcoming tours to Ireland and England. The selectors’ main duty, as with Sri Lanka and England tours last year, is to choose a pool of players. The squads for the South Africa T20Is, England Tests, ODIs, and T20Is are anticipated to be released next week.

Team India’s juggernaut will continue as they go to the West Indies and the United States for a white-ball series before competing in the Asia Cup, which will begin in the last week of August.
