OnePlus has confirmed the India launch date for the much-anticipated OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, which will succeed the 9 Pro from last year. The smartphone will be released in India, Europe, and North America on March 31 at 7:30 p.m. IST. In addition, the OnePlus Buds Pro Radiant Silver will be released in all three markets by the tech giant.
The debut of the OnePlus 10 Pro will be broadcast live on the company’s website and YouTube channel.
Because India has always been a key market for OnePlus, the firm has decided to release the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 exclusively in India. The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 has been officially revealed, with “faster charging, longer battery life, and larger drivers for enhanced sound clarity and bass,” according to OnePlus.
Specifications and pricing for the OnePlus 10 Pro
The OnePlus 10 Pro is already available in China, and an Indian version with minor changes is anticipated to be released soon. The Chinese version of the 10 Pro has a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU is combined with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage in the flagship handset. It has a 5,000mAh battery with 80W rapid charging and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
OnePlus, like its predecessor, teamed with Hasselblad for the cameras of the OnePlus 10 Pro. The OnePlus 10 Pro has a triple rear camera module on the back panel, with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX789 series sensor as the primary, a 50-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor as the secondary, and an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter. The 10 Pro has a 32-megapixel front camera for photos and video calls.
In terms of software, the OnePlus 10 Pro in China runs ColorOS 12.1, which is based on Android 12, although this will not be the case in the global version. OxygenOS will be included with the OnePlus 10 Pro in India and other territories.
The OnePlus 10 Pro Chinese model is priced at CNY 4,699, which roughly amounts to Rs 54,500 in India. For the time being, the OnePlus 10 Pro in India is unknown. However, it is likely to be close to the OnePlus 9 Pro’s initial launch price. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the OnePlus 9 Pro was introduced in India at a starting price of Rs 64,999.
