Pro Kabaddi League Player Auction Postponed Due to Asian Games Training”

Mumbai, September 1, 2023: The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) has decided to delay the Player Auction for Season 10. This change happened because the Administrator of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India (AKFI) asked for it. They are the official organization for Kabaddi in India. The Player Auction was supposed to take place on September 8-9, 2023.

A spokesperson from Mashal Sports, who organizes PKL, said, “The AKFI Administrator requested us to postpone the PKL Season 10 Player Auction because the Indian Men’s and Women’s Kabaddi Teams are getting ready for the Asian Games. Both Mashal and AKFI believe that this event is very important for Indian Kabaddi.”

Mashal talked to the AKFI Administrator about all the plans made by PKL Teams, the broadcast partner, and Mashal for the original dates in September. The Mashal spokesperson added, “The Administrator recognized and appreciated the hard work that everyone involved in PKL, including our 12 Teams and the broadcaster, will have to do to make the rescheduled player auction happen.”

Mashal Sports will announce the new dates for the PKL Season 10 Player Auction soon after discussing with the PKL Teams and Star Sports, the broadcast partner of PKL.
